Impact — Beyond the Platform

Healthcare Intelligence as a Global Public Good

Behind every partnership we build, every dataset we harmonise, and every research question we help answer is the same ambition: a world where the quality of clinical evidence is not determined by the wealth of the institution that generated it, where underserved populations contribute to and benefit from global research, where diseases like Alzheimer's are studied across the full diversity of human experience, and where children with cancer have access to the best knowledge the world has collectively produced.

Bavel Health was built on a simple but radical conviction: clinical intelligence should be a shared resource, not a competitive advantage. Today, the most valuable health data in the world sits locked inside hospital systems, research silos, and institutional boundaries, generating neither insight nor impact. We exist to change that.

Our infrastructure is federated by design and governed by those closest to the patient. It transforms fragmented, isolated health data into interoperable, AI-ready Real-World Evidence without ever moving the data from where it belongs. The result is a global health data economy that is secure, equitable, and built to serve science rather than shareholders.

Because better evidence saves lives. And better evidence requires all of us.

Federated Learning Using Micro Server Devices (IoT) in Underserved Regions

Clinical AI today is built almost entirely on data from wealthy, well-connected institutions. The models it produces reflect the demographics of those who could afford to participate and the treatments it validates exclude the majority of the world's patients.

Bavel changes the equation. Our platform brings AI models to the data, not the other way around. Hospitals in low- and middle-income countries can participate in global research without building expensive infrastructure, surrendering patient records, or navigating complex data export regulations.

The result is clinical intelligence trained on the full spectrum of human health, not just the portion that was easiest to digitise.

Alzheimer's Research Initiative - Non-profit platform access for the research community that needs it most

Bavel makes its federated platform available on a non-profit basis to Alzheimer's research institutions and consortia, because the urgency of the disease demands it.

No data centralisation. No patient records moved. Studies that once required years of harmonisation begin in weeks. Biomarker patterns emerge. Disease trajectories become visible across populations that were previously invisible to research altogether.

Science was always possible. Now the infrastructure is too.

Paediatric oncology CAR-T4Kids

CAR-T therapy has produced outcomes in children with aggressive cancers that were previously considered impossible. Yet its full potential remains unrealised because the data needed to understand it across diverse populations and cancer subtypes is scattered across institutions with no shared infrastructure.

Bavel Health, through ACHA, is a founding enabler of CAR-T4Kids: a global research initiative bringing together hospitals, research institutions, and academic centres across continents to advance CAR-T therapy for children with cancer.

We provide the standard data architecture, the secure federated collaboration environment, and the harmonisation layer that makes multi-site research possible without centralising a single patient record.

Therapy exists. The will exists. Bavel provides the infrastructure to turn both into answers.

ACHA

The Americas Continental Health Alliance coordinates the human ecosystem across Latin America and Europe, connecting research institutions, facilitating knowledge exchange, and ensuring the research reflects the full diversity of the children it is designed to help.

The mission

Technology is only as valuable as the people it reaches.

Bavel Health's infrastructure was built to serve hospitals. Its ambition is the health of the world.
